About Me

Pot Punk

My name is Henry Moore and I’m a ceramicist based in Suffolk. I create work that is inspired by post-punk, surf and skate cultures.

My pieces are now made in Eras. Each Era last for 2 to 3 months and I will be focusing on different topics, styles and processes in each Era. This not only allows me to constantly create new pieces but also allows me to be constantly experimenting with different ceramic processes and developing different skills. It also provides the ability to change and adapt without limitations. Commissions are also OPEN! Please use the Contact Me page to inquire about commissions

If you would like to see my making process, I livestream almost all of my making on Twitch. Any Subscriptions to my Twitch channel also get a discount for the shop!

I aim to make pieces that utilise the medium to its full potential. I want to make work that not only looks interesting, but also physically feels interesting. Texture work is becoming increasingly important in my work and is something I always seem to think about when creating.

I was lucky enough to take part in Channel 4’s Great Pottery Throwdown in 2021 and have since been a full time maker. Creating work for sale and show. I also teach workshops and classes from the studio Claire’s House in Bury St Edmunds. To see whats available please visit: https://www.claireshouse.co.uk

I want to keep spreading artistic anarchy and I hope you do too.
